Rebate Extensions for Pinole Residents

The Pinole Pilot is not currently taking applications.

BayREN has sunset the rebates for Heat Pump Water Heaters and Heat Pumps. However, these rebates will be extended through June 30th 2024 for Pinole residents only to accommodate the recently launched Pinole Energy Enhancement Rebate Program.

Review the BayREN rebate information, eligibility, and requirements below. Pinole Energy Enhancement Rebate Program requirements can be found on the program webpage under "Program Eligibility." Please note: To be eligible for the Pinole Program it is required for the homeowner and/or contractor to fill out the online application, which is separate from the BayREN Home+ paperwork.

Heat Pump Water Heater

Get cash back on a high-efficiency, heat pump water heater when you work with a BayREN Participating Contractor. Combined with incentives for the contractor, switching to a new heat pump water heater is an economical and environmental choice.

Energy ratings (UEF — or Uniform Energy Factor) indicate how efficient the equipment is. The more efficient your equipment, the more energy you save and the lower your water heating costs will be.

See which upgrades qualify and how much you can earn, based on the energy efficiency of your new equipment:
